my new DVD (anamnesis)

Hi guys, as some of you will no doubt remember, my project for the last 3 years was a pretentious pseudo-intellectual sci-fi thriller feature with the pretentious pseudo-intellectual title Anamnesis. We showed a the film last december, and used feed-back to make a few alterations (principally tightening it up a little, by removing about 10mins from the running time). With the film now properly finished, we stuffed a DVD with the film and a truck load of extras (film-maker's commentary, trailers, fifteen deleted scenes, cast/crew biographies, artwork gallery), and have a factory just west of london making us a run of 200. If anyone here would be interested in seeing the film, we are selling the DVDs for the pretty modest price of ?5 (inc. P&P) via our website.

How could I resist?

How did you manage to get a run of 200? When I was doing my homework I could only get runs of 500 or more. You doing Duplication or Replication?

We're doing the cheaper one, not sure which that is. Duplication I think.

I looked around for a long time, and most places would only do runs of 500. Originally we were going to go for 500 dual layer discs + a CD soundtrack in a dual disc box, but that was gonna cost about ?1,800. The deal I got for 200 single layer discs (with a very slight drop of in quality, but only very slight, remember the quality wasn't all that to start with, having been shot on MiniDV etc.) came to ?550 (with postage + VAT). They seem pretty professional, and the samples they sent me were of a very high quality.

Not expecting an overwhelming response, but if anyone is interested I have the DVDs, and have started shipping them out today.
